We Can Help: Before you replace an old air conditioner, install new insulation, or take on other home improvement projects, talk to one of our building scientists. We’ll look at how all of your home’s systems can work together to deliver energy and cost savings while improving comfort and safety. Public Service Company of Oklahoma's (PSO) Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program begins with a top-to-bottom visual and diagnostic evaluation of your home’s energy performance, conducted by a specially trained contractor using state-of-the-art equipment. We’ll help you ensure that any home improvements you make will offer the maximum energy and dollar savings possible.
How It Works: One of our specially trained participating contractors will evaluate your home’s energy use with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. The contractor will perform a series of tests, including the following:
Then your contractor will recommend specific home improvements you could make to maximize energy efficiency, enhance comfort, and save money. Your contractor also will explain the available PSO incentives—up to $4,250—that are available for projects, ranging from adding insulation and sealing ductwork to replacing heating and cooling equipment. Once you’ve decided which upgrades you want to make, your contractor will make the improvements and submit the applicable incentive applications for you.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® incentives are subject to available funds. PSO reserves the right to change or end any portion of this program without notice. Homeowner and contractor must choose either the Standard Path or Performance Path for the entire project.
1 Total Standard Measures Path incentive is capped at $1,750.
2 A $250 Comprehensive Energy Assessment incentive is applicable only if a resulting Home Performance with ENERGY STAR project is completed within six months of the assessment and cost of the installed measure(s) is equal to or greater than $500. All customer incentives are paid at project completion.
3 The Performance Path is capped at 50 percent of the total installed cost or at the incentive level indicated above, whichever is lower.
4 Measures installed for the Performance Path must be selected from the Standard Path measure list. To calculate the total incentive, the homeowner and contractor must choose either the Standard Path or the Performance Path.
